Eastington Park Wedding Photography - Chris + Carley

It’s great to be back at Eastington just 8 days after our last wedding here! It’s the couple and their family and friends that make a wedding day, the venue is just the blank canvas for them to make it theirs for the day so every wedding as unique.

Chris’s car was parked outside the front of the venue (he’s very proud of his car) so after a few photos of that, we moved inside.  They had some lovely details, a memory ladder and some photos of the couple going back over the years which were nice touches. The Ballroom was setup ready for the ceremony so I took the opportunity for photos whilst it was empty and figured out where I could discretely place the camera ready to film.  At that point, the Vyne String Quartet arrived and set up at the rear of the Ballroom meaning that between us we moved the the whole rear rows of chairs to the front to give the group some space.  The little things we do at a wedding!

After a few outside drone photos of the venue, Carley was ready for some photos but before that we had nice moment with Chris whilst he opened a gift from his bride. It was a very smart looking wristwatch so with this in mind, time to see the bride. She was in her wedding dress whilst the girls did the buttons up on the rear, assisted by her mum. Always a good photo opportunity!  Her dad came in to see her for the first time and then back to the Ballroom to await her arrival.

After the ceremony, confetti and the hugs and kisses, we set about the short list of family and group photos they had provided. Heading inside for some photos of the remaining guests meant we had worked our way through the ‘list’ in good time and after some dining room photos, took the couple away for a short ‘photo walk’. It always a good moment for the couple to take 5 minutes away from their friends and family and combine it with some photos.

The wedding breakfast was followed by the speeches and a few more informal photos as the evening guests started to arrive.  As the sun was coming out, we had some more photos with the couple in the grounds and walled garden before heading back to cover the first dance and evening party. The confetti canon proved a hit on the dance floor before the guests moved outside for the surprise fireworks which are always a fantastic finale to a wedding day.
