Elevate Your Perspective:
Wedding Photography From Above
There’s a certain magic to a wedding day that can only be captured from the sky. While I’m always on the ground documenting the intimate glances and quiet tears, the drone allows me to step back and capture the true scale and grandeur of your celebration. It turns your stunning venue and the surrounding landscape into a cinematic backdrop that a ground-level camera simply can't replicate.
What the Drone Adds to Your Gallery
Adding aerial photography isn't just about "high shots"; it’s about storytelling from a new dimension. Here is what it brings to your collection:
The "Sense of Place": Whether it’s a sprawling country estate, a coastal cliffside, or a hidden garden, aerial shots showcase the beautiful location you spent months choosing.
Unique Artistry: Top-down shots of you the two of you walking or lying down in a field (yes we have done those!) or standing on a bridge create minimalist, modern portraits that look incredible as large-scale wall art.
Cinematic Context: It captures the beauty of the venue from the air together with the surroundings and is a great introduction for the video package we offer.
A Note on Flights & Pricing
I believe that if the conditions are right, you deserve these epic shots as part of your story. That’s why I do not charge extra for drone coverage. Because drone flight is entirely dependent on safe weather conditions and local airspace regulations, it can never be 100% guaranteed. By keeping it as a complimentary addition rather than a paid "extra," there’s no stress or financial loss if the British weather decides not to cooperate. If the sun is out and the winds are calm, the drone goes up!
Drone Photography & Videography Disclaimer
1. Weather Dependency
The operation of aerial drone equipment is strictly subject to safe weather conditions. For the safety of your guests and our equipment, the drone will not be flown in the event of:
Rain, mist, or heavy fog.
Wind speeds (including gusts) exceeding the safe operating limit of the aircraft (typically 20mph).
Extreme temperatures or atmospheric conditions that may compromise flight stability.
2. Site & Legal Restrictions
All flights are subject to UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, permission from the venue and flight must be in accordance with local airspace restrictions.
No-Fly Zones: We cannot fly in restricted airspace (e.g., near airports, military bases, or certain London zones) without prior specific authorisation, which may not always be granted.
Venue Permission: It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the venue allows the use of drones on their property.
Safety Discretion: The Pilot in Command (the photographer) maintains absolute 'final say' on whether a flight is safe to conduct. If the pilot deems the environment (e.g., overhead power lines, dense tree cover, or guest proximity) to be unsafe, the drone will remain grounded.
