Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photography - Chris + Sophie

Sophie and Chris tied the knot on a warm, bright May day at the beautiful Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury, one of the Cotswolds’ most charming wedding venues. The day began at the nearby Priory Hotel, where we joined Sophie and her bridesmaids during the getting ready stage. The light-filled room provided a perfect setting for capturing candid bridal prep moments, with a relaxed atmosphere full of excitement and anticipation.

Just five minutes away, The Great Tythe Barn was already set for the ceremony. The rustic main room, decorated with elegant floral touches, offered the ideal backdrop. We positioned multiple cameras discreetly to film the ceremony from several angles, ensuring every moment was recorded.

After the heartfelt ceremony, guests gathered outside for the always-fun confetti throw — a brilliant moment for natural, joyful photos. With a smaller, more intimate wedding party, Sophie and Chris had time to mingle with everyone, allowing us to capture some fantastic candid images.

Following the formal group photos, we explored the barn’s private gardens for some relaxed couple portraits in the golden afternoon light. The speeches brought plenty of laughter, setting a cheerful tone for the evening.

As the sun dipped, we took more golden-hour photos while evening guests began to arrive. The barn buzzed with energy as the couple took to the floor for their first dance, kicking off a night of dancing and celebration led by a lively DJ.
