Corston Wedding Photography - Jon + Chrissie

Jon & Chrissie’s wedding was a day filled with warmth, fun, and plenty of unique touches that made it truly their own. The couple began their marriage with a ceremony at the historic Guildhall in Bath, before heading to a private farm in Corston a couple of days later for an unforgettable outdoor celebration and hand-tying ceremony.

Chrissie spent the morning getting ready at home with her close family, while Jon was already at the farm making sure everything was in place. The outdoor set-up was simply stunning, with hay bales arranged in a semi-circle, vintage sofas, and a Welsh dresser adding a rustic charm. It was the perfect opportunity for some aerial drone photography to capture the full scene.

The ceremony, led by celebrant Jen Whitworth, was filled with joy and laughter. Jon made his entrance in style, driving a child’s electric tractor, and the guests joined in the fun by hunting for the wedding rings hidden amongst the hay bales. The hand-tying ritual concluded the ceremony, followed by a confetti throw and plenty of smiles.

During the drinks reception, candid photos captured the relaxed atmosphere, with the bridal party spraying champagne to kick off the celebrations. The couple’s grand entrance into the marquee, complete with smoke and flashing lights, set the tone for the evening. After heartfelt speeches, the sun began to set over the rolling fields, creating a beautiful backdrop for more couple portraits.

As the live band struck up, Jon & Chrissie shared their first dance before the party carried on into the night. With the moon rising behind them, we captured one final magical shot before leaving the newlyweds to dance and celebrate with their loved ones.
