Summer weddings in the Cotswolds have a distinct charm, and James and Katrina’s day was the epitome of effortless elegance.

Katrina spent a relaxed morning at home with her bridesmaids, soaking in the anticipation. Conveniently, her family home sits just a five-minute stroll from the picturesque local church at Meysey Hampton, making for a serene, stress-free walk to the aisle.

Meanwhile, James prepared at The Waters Edge alongside his immediate family. It offered a quiet, intimate moment to capture lovely family portraits before the festivities kicked off. Joined by family and friends, he then headed to the Masons Arms for a quick pre-ceremony pint before walking over to the church.

Following a beautiful ceremony, the couple were greeted by a striking sword arch, expertly formed by James’s former military colleagues, leading straight into a vibrant confetti line.

Afterwards, everyone gathered back at The Waters Edge. The stunning lakeside setting made a brilliant backdrop for group photos, a full-guest drone shot, and candid moments. We also stole the newlyweds away for a few quiet couples’ portraits around the grounds.

After some very funny speeches, guests enjoyed a lakeside cocktail hour—the perfect light for relaxed evening portraits. The night wrapped up on a high note, with the fantastic Truly Medley Deeply keeping the dancefloor packed after a romantic first dance.
