Rain, Romance, and a Song in the Air: Barnaby & Charlie’s Beautiful Day at The Waters Edge

The British summer time might have brought heavy downpours for Barnaby and Charlie’s big day at The Waters Edge at Ewen, but a bit of rain wasn't about to dampen anyone’s spirits. Guests happily braved the weather with umbrellas in hand to reach the beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Under the dry shelter of the gazebo, talented musicians set a beautiful soundtrack whilst the marriage registers were signed.

Bringing their mutual love for music and theatre to the forefront, the newlyweds and their bridal party literally sang their way back down the outside aisle, turning the walk back to the venue into an unforgettable, joyous performance.

Whilst the persistent drizzle meant group photos were captured within the cosy interiors of the venue, nature kindly granted a perfectly timed dry spell later in the day. We seized the moment, slipping away to capture some couple portraits right by the edge of the tranquil lake.

Following a delicious wedding breakfast, guests were treated to a round of heartfelt speeches. The celebrations culminated in a fabulous evening on the dancefloor, soundtracked entirely by playlist custom-curated by the couple themselves.
