Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography - Hayley + Marcus

Marcus and Hayley’s wedding at Combe Lodge, nestled in the heart of Blagdon, Somerset, was the definition of a perfect summer celebration. With cloudless blue skies, warm sunshine, and an atmosphere full of love and laughter, it was a photographer’s dream from start to finish.

The day began with Hayley getting ready with her bridesmaids, filled with laughter, excitement, and a few happy tears. Meanwhile, Marcus and his groomsmen were getting suited up – and sharing one of the largest bottles of beer we’ve ever seen!

The ceremony took place indoors, surrounded by family and friends, before guests flowed out onto the lawn for a relaxed outdoor reception. This gave us the perfect chance to capture plenty of natural, candid wedding photos as guests soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed the stunning views.

After the group photos, we whisked Marcus and Hayley away to a charming, softly lit woodland spot for some romantic couple portraits. Their connection was effortless, and the light was perfect.

Following the speeches and wedding breakfast, the golden hour delivered exactly what they’d hoped for – warm, dreamy light for those must-have sunset wedding portraits around the grounds of Combe Lodge.

The evening kicked off on the lawn with more photos, before the couple danced the night away indoors with a DJ and a live saxophonist, creating a vibrant party atmosphere.
